What beliefs and laws do Jeremiah and Jael

follow according to the Bible?

There is both spiritual and water submersion baptism taught well into the New Testament, and both are a requirement for salvation. People like to bring up the thief on the cross and that lone person in the middle of the Sahara desert. Neither one of those has anything to do with you, so don’t worry about that stuff. The majority of human beings on this earth are living in a place where there is water somewhere near them. We can go to a river, lake, pond, ocean, large bathing tub, or a swimming pool; we have many options today. The Bible teaches us that water baptism is a symbol of starting over, just like the flood of Noah. It is clearly talking about physical water and not the spiritual aspect.

1 Peter 3:18-21(KJV) For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 20Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. 21The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Paul baptized with (water) in the New Testament

1 Corinthians 1:16-KJV) And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

Acts 16:33-(KJV) And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

Jesus came to give us the gift of the Holy Spirit through spiritual baptism; however, that does not negate the fact that we are still required to be baptized under the water.

Acts 10:47-(KJV) Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

Acts 8:36-(KJV) And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

Acts 8:38-(KJV) And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Paul and the people kept a fast at least 14 days. We believe in fasting for both physical and spiritual cleansing. We fast a minimum of 1x every month.

Acts 27:9-(KJV) Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them,

Acts 27:33-(KJV) And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.

Eating clean foods

Isaiah 66:15-17 (NIV) See, the Lord is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. 16For with fire and with his sword the Lord will execute judgment on all people, and many will be those slain by the Lord. 17“Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs, rats and other unclean things—they will meet their end together with the one they follow,” declares the Lord.

The Bible is very clear about what Jesus is going to do to people who eat unclean foods. The scripture says, (THE LORD IS COMING WITH FIRE TO KILL THOSE WHO EAT UNCLEAN FOODS) not (YOU CAN EAT WHATEVER YOU WANT JUST PRAY OVER IT). Since Jesus has not returned yet, this can only be a future prophecy.

Eating unclean foods was and still is an abomination no matter what people tell you. It is almost unbelievable the excuses people come up with to sin and to justify sinning. Below is a favorite scripture used in many churches. The meaning of this scripture is the exact opposite of what most churches are teaching. It is referring to people that are Gentiles, judging and condemning Israelites for eating clean foods, honoring the Sabbath and worshipping on Holy Days. That would be like my aunt, who is a Christian, telling people, “Jael is out there, she is so weird and satanic, do you know she honors the Sabbath and eats clean foods? She does not even celebrate Christmas with the family or go to church on Sunday. She is so lost.”

Paul was telling the Israelites not to worry about people like my aunt who is judging me for doing what is right.

Colossians 2:16-(KJV) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Colossians 2:8-(NIV) See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.

Col 2:8 is telling us not to let people like my aunt make me feel bad for not following human traditions.

Colossians 2:16-(KJV) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

How can we confirm these scriptures are referring to Israelites not letting heathens persuade them? By looking at the very next line, verse 18.

Colossians 2:18-(NIV) Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind.

Verse 18 clearly shows that Paul is referring to heathens, trying to lead the Israelites down the wrong path. Here is what is upsetting, churches pick one scripture out here and there and flash them on the screen during service. The church says amen and never questions anything. Most often all we have to do is simply read the verses above and below the chosen scripture and it will give us the true meaning of the text. Take Colossians 2:16 for example, if we simply read, verse 18, we can clearly see that the whole thing is about Israelites not letting heathens disqualify them because they are no longer worshipping angels. Worshipping angel was a major form of idolatry that people use to do. The Israelites had gone astray and were living amongst heathens. The Israelites had begun to wake up and Paul was writing letters to steer them in the right direction, away from the heathens and back towards the God of the Israelites. Read our book, The Law Vs. Grace for more information about all these things.

Colossians 2:18-(NIV) Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind.

The Sabbath

Both Jesus and Paul taught on the Sabbath in the New Testament

John 19:31-(KJV) The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

Acts 1:12-(KJV) Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

Acts 13:14-(KJV) But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.

Acts 13:27-(KJV) For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

Acts 13:42-(KJV) And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

Acts 13:44-(KJV) And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Acts 15:21-(KJV) For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Acts 16:13-(KJV) And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

Acts 17:2-(KJV) And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

The Sabbath is literally the 4th commandment of the Ten Commandments and churches teach, “follow all the commandments, except that one.” It is utterly ridiculous! The Sabbath is taught and practiced throughout the Bible and specifically throughout the New Testament. We honor the Sabbath every seventh day. In the Bible, a day is considered to be from evening to evening.

Leviticus 23:32-(NIV) It is a day of sabbath rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath.

Genesis 1:5-(KJV) And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

No matter which one of these scriptures we look at, the evening was the start of a day.

The Sabbath is the 7th day of the week, simply Google “Saturday” it will show you that Saturday is the 7th day of the week. The Bible is very clear that the Sabbath is the 7th day of the week.

Merriam-Webster Dictionary-Saturday definition is - the seventh day of the week.

Genesis 2:3-(KJV) And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Don’t you know God gave us the Sabbath, so we would not work ourselves to death? God gave us the Sabbath because he knew we would be working around the clock, and our bodies needed rest. The Sabbath was a blessing; it is a special gift from the Most High God; it is not a curse. Every week, we get excited when it gets close to Friday sundown, we know it will be a time the family gets together, studies, eats, laughs, and rest. It is an absolutely beautiful and joyous experience!

Hebrews 4:4-(KJV) For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

Now, God did cause his people to forget their identities, their Sabbaths, their New Moons, and their Holy Days, as a punishment for disobeying him. However, the Bible tells us his people would wake up and start following and honoring these days again in the end times.

Hosea 2:11-(NIV) I will stop all her celebrations: her yearly festivals, her New Moons, her Sabbath days--all her appointed festivals.

Isaiah 1:13-14-(NLT) Stop bringing me your meaningless gifts; the incense of your offerings disgusts me! As for your celebrations of the new moon and the Sabbath and your special days for fasting— they are all sinful and false. I want no more of your pious meetings. 14 I hate your new moon celebrations and your annual festivals. They are a burden to me. I cannot stand them!

God got fed up with the Israelites multiple times throughout the Bible, they were consistently being disobedient. Therefore, he caused them to go into repeated bouts of slavery.

Hosea 1:10-(NIV) "Yet the Israelites will be like the sand on the seashore, which cannot be measured or counted. In the place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' they will be called 'children of the living God.'

Isaiah 45:17-(NIV) But Israel will be saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting.

Romans 11:26-(ESV) And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”;

Isaiah 10:20-21 (NIV) In that day the remnant of Israel, the survivors of Jacob, will no longer rely on him who struck them down but will truly rely on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel. 21 A remnant will return, a remnant of Jacob will return to the Mighty God.

Isaiah 11:11-12(NIV) 11In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, b from Elam, from Babylonia, c from Hamath and from the islands of the Mediterranean.12He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth.

Multiple wives

Jesus says marriage is between one man and one woman. If you believe in multiple wives, good for you, we do not. We don’t care anything about people in the Old Testament having more than one wife, this is what we believe and that is what Jesus taught.

Matthew 19:5-6-(NIV) and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."

Mark 10:5-9-(ESV)  And Jesus said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment. 6But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ 7‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, 8and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. 9What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Feast Days

We are about to dive into a deeper study on the feast days, their dates and times, and what exactly we are supposed to be doing on those days. We will post an update on this subject in the near future.

We believe in praying at sunrise, at 3 pm, and at sundown, However, to be honest, sometimes we pray when we wake up, we do not always make the sunrise prayer. We are working on that. While we don’t believe that a woman must cover her hair at all times, we do believe as the Bible says, that a woman should cover her hair while praying, teaching, or witnessing. We also believe that a man should not cover his hair while praying or teaching or preaching.

1 Corinthians 11:4-9-(NIV) Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. 5But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is the same as having her head shaved. 6For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.7A man ought not to cover his head, b since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. 8For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; 9neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.

A man should have short hair according to the Bible, unless, he is taking a Nazarite Vow or in some priestly service, and a woman should maintain her natural hair length. A man is also supposed to grow a beard if he can.

1 Corinthians 11:14-16 (NIV) Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, 15but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering. 16If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice—nor do the churches of God.

Leviticus 19:27-(KJV) Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

Eating Blood

Acts 15:20-(KJV) But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols(A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT), and from fornication (A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT), and from things strangled(A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT), and from blood(A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT).

Acts 15:29-(KJV) That ye abstain from meats offered to idols(A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT), and from blood(A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT), and from things strangled(A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT), and from fornication(A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT): from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

Acts 21:25-(KJV) As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols(A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT), and from blood(A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT), and from strangled(A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT), and from fornication(A LAW BEING COMMANDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT).

We are still under laws in the New Testament. These scriptures are commandments and laws being handed down for the Gentiles to follow. If laws are being commanded for the Gentiles, there are DEFINITELY still laws for God’s chosen people.

1 John 2:3-(KJV) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

Titus 1:14-(KJV) Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

1 John 3:24-(KJV) And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

1 John 5:2-(KJV) By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

1 John 5:3-(KJV) For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

2 John 1:6-(KJV) And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

Revelation 12:17-(KJV) And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
